Support Units
Priests
Priests were a spiritual bastion of the army. A clergyman was a part of each and every squad to support the soldiers' morale. Also the church supervised
medical aid and transporting the wounded from a battlefield, and played a great role in many political arrangements. The church figures took part in
diplomatic negotiations and made great strides quite often. Missionary work was of great importance. Priests extended their confessions and converted other
peoples to them.
